Learning braille, from age zero to twelve.
BRAITICO is the ONCE's official method for learning to read and write in braille, from age zero to twelve, in four modules matched to each stage and taught across Spain. We worked on the software for three of them: A Punto, Brailleo and Superbraille 4.0.
Our work on the C# software ran from 2020 to 2022 across module 2, A Punto, module 3, Brailleo, and module 4, Superbraille 4.0. The February 2022 update to the method brought 149 new activities to those three modules: 27 in A Punto along with the story La estrella traviesa, 106 in Brailleo and 16 in Superbraille 4.0.
Method
The ONCE teaches braille reading and writing in four modules, one for each stage.
A Punto
Module 2, which gained 27 activities and the story La estrella traviesa in the 2022 update.
Brailleo
Module 3, with 106 new activities in the same update.
Superbraille 4.0
Module 4, the last stage of the method up to age twelve, with 16 new activities.
