DOMS, the Dynamic Order Management System of IF Last Mile, is what a last-mile delivery operation runs on: orders come in, get organised and go out onto the delivery runs. Working inside the client's own team, we built its web front end in React and TypeScript and the services that bring orders in and take data back out.
Three pieces carry it: the DOMS web front end in React and TypeScript, an order import service that brings orders into the system and an export service that takes the data back out. We built them in 2022 from inside the client's own team.
Import
The import service brings orders into DOMS.
Organise
The team organises them in the React and TypeScript web front end.
Dispatch
Orders go out onto the delivery runs.
Export
The export service takes the data back out of the system.
