Back to 1588, through the streets of San Lorenzo.
A geolocated AR treasure hunt through San Lorenzo de El Escorial for its town council, the second adventure of Map of History. Set in the world of RTVE's series El Ministerio del Tiempo, its plot turns on 1588, the Spanish Armada and Felipe II. You play it in the town's streets; we built the Android app and its geolocated AR.
The hunt is permanent and played on foot: its geolocated AR only comes alive in the streets of San Lorenzo. We built it in LibGDX for Android in 2016, with RTVE, Onza Entertainment, the Universidad Complutense de Madrid and the Ateneo Escurialense taking part.
