Every bank and ERP, in one treasury view.
Embat is a treasury platform for finance teams: one view of cash across every bank and ERP. We worked with them in 2022, at the start, on two layers: the bank connections and the front end.
First, Node.js services on Google Cloud Functions that link a company's bank accounts through Flanks and Yapily, handle credentials and one-time passwords, pull balances and transactions, and normalise everything into Embat's data model. Then a component library of around 40 pieces, built from their Figma design system and documented in Storybook, and the treasury and reconciliation screens assembled from it.
Connect
Bank accounts are linked through Flanks and Yapily, including credentials and one-time passwords.
Normalise
Balances and transactions from every bank land in one data model, with a log of every call.
Build
A library of around 40 components, from the Figma design system to Storybook.
Assemble
The treasury and reconciliation screens are put together from that library.
