A browser-based AR adventure in the Map of History universe for Urban Hostel Palma. At 8 markets and 4 beaches across Mallorca, players check in on location and unlock AR sculptures with stories about the island. No app to install.
It is the seventh adventure in our Map of History series, and all of it runs in the mobile browser, geolocation and AR included. We modelled the 3D ourselves rather than buying it in: the island at three densities, a sculpture for each theme and even the pine trees, with the animations exported to GLB for the WebAR layer, so twelve stops across the island open straight from the phone.
