A games store, built since day one.

Wakkap is a Spanish video game store. It launched in 2017 as a marketplace where players bought and sold games to each other, haggling with counter-offers until they agreed a price, with payment and Correos shipping in the middle. It later became a store for physical games and collector's editions, with 24 to 48 hour delivery and Plan Renove to trade in used games.

In its first six months the marketplace passed 3,500 registered users and some 1,500 games. We have designed and built the platform since day one and through each rebuild, and we still do: catalogue and search, checkout with PayPal, Sipay and Aplazame, orders and shipping, on Rails and MongoDB.
